Board and Train
Are you going out of town and need to board your dog while you are gone?
Are you already stretched to your limit with work and/or children and just can’t find the time to do daily homework with your puppy or young dog?
Are you overwhelmed by a dog that just isn’t as easy as your last one?
The above are all great reasons to take advantage of our Board and Train program. Your dog stays at the trainer’s home and learns sit, down, stay, come when called, walk politely on leash, and leave it. Two daily training sessions work on the basics and cover behavioral issues – barking, mouthing, jumping etc.
Dogs are trained at the trainer’s home, at the training building in a group setting, and occasionally at local parks and pet stores.
We offer two different types of training.
Basic Training,
This training is done with leash and collar only, your dog learns sit, down, stay, come when called, leave it and walk politely on leash. No jumping, no barking and no mouthing are also addressed when needed. Your dog will be able to perform these behaviors while on leash or indoors and when distractions minimal. It is basically a jump start for your own training. Training period of approximately 14 days, if a few extra days are required there is no additional charge. You will receive daily texts with photos/videos of your dog so you can be sure they are happy and learning.
Included in the training package is a one hour training session when your dog is ready to go home, a free 8 week group class and any special collar or leash that is required. Cost is $1000, $50 deposit, $450 when you drop off your dog and the balance when you pick them up.
Advanced Training
A low level electric training collar will be used, allowing you better off leash control when your dog is done with their training. They will learn sit, down, stay, go to place, come when called, leave it and to walk politely on or off leash. Training period is approximately 21 days, if a few extra days are required there will be no additional charge.
Included in the training package is a one hour training session when your dog is ready to go home, a free 8 week group class and the new electric collar that was used in their training. You will receive daily texts with photos/videos of your dog so you can be sure they are happy and learning.
Cost is $1750, deposit of $50, $825 at drop off and $825 when you pick your dog up.
